The Heavenly Son taught us how to pray in Matthew 6: 9 as, "My Father, Who art in Heaven, Holy is Your Name. Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven. Give me this day my daily bread, and forgive my debts as I forgive my debtors. Allow me not to be led into temptation, but deliver me from the Evil One, for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever! HalleluYahweh!"
Notice the framework of this prayer. First, it identifies Who, the Father in Heaven, adding that His Name is holy. It is not His title, Lord or God, that is holy, but His Name, and His Name is Yahweh. By the way, scripture says He is jealous, so we know that His Name must be in His actual Word. Second, it identifies the pray-er's position, one of agreement and submission. Third, it identifies the pray-er's needs; sustenance, leadership, and forgiveness. Finally it identifies Why; because Yahweh is coming, and He will stay here forever with us (not the other way around!). This is Yahshua's format, and we cannot go wrong following it. We must acknowledge Who, Why, and What. For prayers of intercession, in which we pray for the benefit of another, the "what" is the specific needs of the other person.
And notice also that Yahshua's family's names are a picture of the overview of His ministry. Yahshua's brothers were:
Jacob (Yaaqob) = Israel
Judah (Yahdah) = Judah
Simon (Shimon) = "heard" and
Josef (Yahseph) = House of David
So Yahshua's family's names mean:
"ISRAEL AND JUDAH WILL BE HEARD THROUGH THE HOUSE OF DAVID!"
And notice also the examples of "Number Two" being blessed:
Adam was 1st, and Yahshua was 2nd,
Cain was 1st, and Abel was 2nd,
Esau was 1st, and Jacob was 2nd,
Ishmael was 1st, and Isaac was 2nd,
Aaron was 1st, and Moses was 2nd and
The Jews were 1st, and The Gentiles are 2nd!
