As with anything else, First Faith knows that we must get the names right for anything to work. Prayers, like human mail, need the right name and address. This shows that we have "rightly divided the Word of Truth," that we care enough to get the names right. We care about getting a waiter's or clerk's name right, so how much more should we care about correctly expressing the Heavenly Father's and Heavenly Son's Names??
The Heavenly Father's Name is NOT God or Lord. Those are titles, not names. In fact, they're pagan titles. We see in scripture that Yahweh (YHWH) shows His Name in Exodus 3: 15 of The Book of Yahweh, published by The House of Yahweh, Abilene, TX, saying, "This shall you say to the children of Israel; Yahweh, the Heavenly Father of your fathers, the Father of Abraham, the Father of Isaac, the Father of Jacob, has sent me to you. This (Yahweh) is My Name forever, My Memorial to remember Me from generation to generation, for all generations."
Has Yahweh's Name been taken out of your Bible?? And replaced by less "Jewish-sounding!" titles, like "the Lord thy God?" Yahweh goes on to say in Jeremiah 23: 26-27, "How long will it be in the hearts of the prophets to prophesy lies? They conspire to cause My people to forget MY Name (Yahweh) for (in favor of) Baal (Lord)."
Notice that Yahweh's Name is hidden in the names of many of the books of the Bible, showing only as "IAH" (from YAHweh) in some of them, like IsaIAH, JeremIAH, NehemIAH, and ZephanIAH. Other books have less obvious distortions, like Hosea (HosheYAH). Even the word HalleluYAH(weh) which means "Praise be to Yahweh" has been changed to conceal His Name! If your Bible slights His Name, be sure to look for it. It is sometimes hard to find, believe it or not, and other times, it has been completely left out by translators who didn't want to appear "too Jewish!" by using the actual name of Yahweh, as for example in Acts 2: 21 - "All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." Just what IS the name of the Lord? It doesn't say, does it! It just refers to calling "upon the Name of the Lord," NOT "upon the Lord." See? It's missing! Same thing in Romans 10: 13. Same thing in Joel 2: 32. Does your Bible have the true name? Or a pagan replacement? Be careful - it's your soul. Be selective!
The same thing occurs with the Name of the Heavenly Son. Although His Name is Yahshua (YAH from Yahweh, and SHUA from a Hebrew word for salvation), and even though His mother, His father, His brothers and sisters, and everyone else He ever met in His whole life called Him Yahshua, He has been given a second name, Jesus, which is a derivative of Zeus! We must remember, the New Testament passed through the Greek language, and in the process, picked up some Greek trappings, like the name of their highest pagan god, Zeus! If scripture is true, then there is only one name by which man must be saved, and that name is Yahshua, since that name means "Yahweh is Salvation!" What does the name Zeus mean? Nothing!! We don't need a pagan second name (Jesus). The name Yahshua (Joshua) is available in Greek and English! REMEMBER, ACTS 4: 12 TELLS US THAT "THERE IS NO OTHER NAME, UNDER HEAVEN, GIVEN BY MAN, BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED." ALL OF THE OTHER NAMES, OR ACTUALLY, SUBNAMES, HAVE COME FROM UNDER HEAVEN, AND ARE GIVEN BY MAN - EXCEPT YAHSHUA!!
Interestingly, the lineage of Adam combines to make a philosophical statement regarding the big picture.
In the lineage Adam (man), Seth (appointed), Enosh (mortal), Cainan (dwelling place), Mahalalyl (blessed Yahweh), Jared (He shall descend), Enoch (preaching), Methuselah (His death shall bring), and Lamech (captives comfort), the philosophical statement is:
"Man is appointed a mortal dwelling place, but blessed Yahweh shall descend preaching. His death shall bring captives comfort."
